About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah Stevens, a fingerstyle guitarist from Vlaardingen, now living in Rotterdam. I play solo acoustic guitar, blending melody, rhythm, and harmony into full arrangements on one instrument. Everything is played live, no loops, no backing tracks, just me and the guitar.

My music is a mix of original pieces and reimagined versions of songs I love. The sound ranges from peaceful and reflective to playful or rhythmic, depending on the moment and the story behind each tune. I aim to make instrumental music that speaks clearly, even without words.

Over the years, I have opened for Tommy Emmanuel, toured with Michael Fix, and released two albums. After taking time to embrace my identity as a transgender woman, I returned to the stage in 2024 with renewed passion and a deeper connection to my music. I am currently working on my third album, After All, A-Typical, set for release in 2025.

My performances are intimate experiences where I share not just music, but the stories behind each piece. Whether in a listening room, theater, or intimate venue, I create a space where instrumental music becomes a conversation between artist and audience.
